Excellent school bottleAnonymous reviewerWe use these for school as they are not too large / heavy (when full) and easy to refill during the day. Don’t want to use plastic and these steel ones are taste free. Only downside is the sealing ring inside the cap which falls out (often) and if lost makes the bottle leak. A smaller/tighter one would probably fix this!

Could be great but design is faultyAnonymous reviewerI've bought several of these, in different sizes — 2 x 500ml, 1 x 300ml, 2 x 750ml. They look great – simple, robust, clean – but after the failure of the cap in every single bottle following minor knocks and falls (they're used as school bottles), I can only conclude that either the design or the materials used to make the cap have inherent structural weaknesses. I suspect the grade of plastic is too brittle, or the fact that the hook occupies some of the space of the lid means that there isn't enoug material to protect it. Also, as others have mentioned, the seal always falls out, too, and I've lost some for good. Each time I've bought another bottle and carried on using it for a while until the seal is lost or the cap broken — and now I have several perfectly good stainless steel bottles which I can't use as the caps have failed. It's very frustrating but also a shame as it *seems* like a great product. If only I could get spare caps!

At first thought it was good, but it leaked so much. the rubber seal in the lid fell out 1/2 the time i wanted to use it, and constantly having to push it back into place.
Shame. its a great size, but doesn't work.

Leaky bottleAnonymous reviewerI bought several of these because they're a good size - however they are useless. The rubber seal falls out of the lid every time you open the bottle which is really frustrating. It's left me with 5 unusable leaky bottles and many wet school books. I don't think you can glue them in because it's not food safe.

waste of moneyAnonymous reviewerI wouldn't waste £5 on this. I bought one for my daughter to take to school. Her schoolbag and contents came home damp as the bottle had leaked after exactly 1 day. I could see the silicone ring that should keep it sealed was missing. I had noticed in the morning that it was a bit loose. It obviously fell off and she didn't notice. Don't waste your money, buy a better quality product elsewhere!
Great bottle until you lose the loose rubber sealAnonymous reviewerI really like the look, size, and material of this bottle. The inside of the lid has a rubber seal ring that comes loose pretty much every time you open it, making it easy to lose.
Once lost, the bottle starts to leak and becomes unusable, such a shame.
I thought I'd keep this bottle for years to come as the steel is a lovely quality, but the lack of a functioning rubber seal completely devalues the product.

since the reusable bottle can no longer be reused. What good is ikea trying to sell objects for sustainable living if the objects only last a few weeks?
