Another great use for these!Anonymous reviewerOh I do wish I could attach a photograph to this review to show what I am talking about! I have discovered that if you turn the food cover inside out, and use it to cover the point where bananas in a bunch join, it is easy to fix it to the banana stems. The bananas then keep fresh for far longer. Another great use for these wonderful covers!

We put them in the dishwasher regularly and they've put up quite well with that. We mainly use the smallest (transparent) one and rarely use the other two sizes. After two years of regular use and being put in the dishwasher, the smallest ones have some holes now. They're still useable though, as the holes are quite small. I only wish that the different sizes would be sold separately - a pack of three of the smallest ones would be perfect.

Great food coversAnonymous reviewerGreat food covers. Fits well over biscuit and cracker packages and keeps them fresh. Also good for courgettes and cucumbers. No need for cling film. They are so much cheaper than other brands and still do the same job!
Difficult to clean properlyAnonymous reviewerI like these in theory, they do the job in terms of covering containers and foods, but I find them very difficult to clean well so they're not really very practical to use regularly.
They are dishwasher safe, but they're so floppy and curved in on themselves that the water doesn't get into all of the nooks and crannies very well, plus they are lightweight so often get moved around by the water pressure, so they never really seem clean once they come out of the dishwasher. I've tried washing them inside out and it doesn't help much!
Even if you wash by hand it's still tricky as they're so floppy and slippery when wet. They also take a long time to dry if left to air dry (I find I have to turn them over & inside out once they're partially dry), and are awkward to dry with a teatowel.
I sort of feel like I need some kind of special rack to stretch them over to wash in the dishwasher, which would keep them spread out so the water can get to the whole thing.

It got dry one side after a night, then the next morning I flipped to another side to dry it but it is not possible as the you can never flip it completely to the right shape to let air to dry it, It curls around after flipping over. After another night drying the part of the another side, you need to towel dry the rest. For the staff you have replied my previous review, try it yourself and you know what I mean.
Secondly, it mentions the diameter is 25cm and 18cm but it doesn't mean that it can fit a diameter of a container with either 25cm or 18cm as the part silicone to cling on is the part which curled inside. That diameter has no information mentioned in the description. And every bowl has a different curves, that means it is not necessary to fit into a bowl with 25cm diameter. The store I bought it didn't have the sample out otherwise I would have tried on the IKEA bowls that I have.
For people found in useful, because it fits their containers luckily.
Good idea but awkward sizes and bad design, hard to dryAnonymous reviewerI have bought two packs of different sizes. So I am only able to use the two smallest ones to cover a cucumber and a cup. All the other sizes don't fit in the IKEA plates and bowls I bought. The larger set of two food covers has very little information of what size of container it can be covered which I guess using the information provided by the smaller pack but it doesn't fit. They should have provided more information.
Also, it is very hard to dry with the tight gap inside, It is a very bad design. It is not hygienic if it doesn't get dry to use it again. Waste of 9 pounds.
