Reviews
Nice looking product Anonymous reviewerThis product works fairly well and is a good price. However there are too many gaps and flies get in and out which I was hoping to avoid.
Great mini greenhouse Anonymous reviewerBought for use indoors to help germinate seeds and it’s perfect for that. Looks great on the kitchen windowsill.
Perfect Anonymous reviewerGreat little greenhouses for the windowsill, lots of seedlings in pots started before going outside. Easy to put together.
Green house Anonymous reviewerVery good qaulity
Love it!Anonymous reviewerPerfect little indoor greenhouse, good quality material, but I would advise to follow the instructions and peel the glass protectors off before putting it together!
Worst design of an Ikea product I have ever experienced Anonymous reviewerThis should be a simple item to assemble. Over an hour to peel off all the protective plastic then, after 90 minutes of trying to get the fiddly plastic plugs to connect together I gave up and the whole thing went in the bin.
A stylish alternative cold frame Anonymous reviewerEnhances the appearance of the outdoor space rather than detracting from it as most cold frames would.
Mini greenhouse Anonymous reviewerToo small for what I needed pity you don’t do much larger ones as it would be perfect. Thanks
Arrived broken Anonymous reviewerThe product it’s self is just as expected and works well.
It’s just that packing glass panels in just cardboard doesn’t.
Perfect in the garden Anonymous reviewerEasy to make and work perfectly in the garden for bringing on small tender plants.
Nice itemAnonymous reviewerA bit fiddly to put together, one clip didn't line up very well. But still a useful product
Nice looking, but...Anonymous reviewerBought to display some trinkets, looks great and the protective film kept the glass safe in transit.
Unfortunately the door won't close flush and sits incredibly crooked, no matter how many times I double-check the instructions. One of the plastic pegs snapped while inserting.
Was unable to get assistance from IKEA support, very disappointed.
Looks goodAnonymous reviewerVery fiddly to assemble and does not 'click' into place as the instructions state it should. Needs to base to securely hold it all together. I got mine at half price in ikea and it's worth that price. Looks good though so would still recommend
Not exactly what I had hoped forAnonymous reviewerThe entire greenhouse is a little flimsy. For packaging purposes, I understand that glass is probably not ideal for the window panes, but I had really hoped for glass rather than plastic (similar to that that covers the IKEA picture frames). The base is not attached (easy for cleaning, sure), but the entire thing is not particularly wind and weatherproof so it will not really serve its purpose of a balcony greenhouse of herbs and the likes. If you want to use it as a proper table-top greenhouse, some insulation will be needed, and it isn't the easiest of IKEA items to put together, especially since you are going to be worried about breaking it as it is quite flimsy.
It is very cute to look at, but it is expensive for what it is
The pieces that aren't manufactured wrong look nice...Anonymous reviewerBought 2 of these little greenhouses, which was lucky as it meant I was actually able to make one complete greenhouse out of the parts that didn't have manufacturing errors. One panel had a hole in completely the wrong place, as clearly part of it had been welded on the wrong way round. Another panel had a misaligned section, which meant it wouldn't slot into place correctly.
Paid for 2 greenhouses, have 1 (which admittedly does look lovely) and a box of dodgy parts. Not the quality I expect from IKEA at all. Disappointed.
Can't be called a greenhouseAnonymous reviewerIs not a greenhouse, is more a decorative item than a greenhouse.
This items has lots of gaps on it (tray, windows, etc) so doesn't keep moisture for seeds to sprout and plants to grow.
Very poor quality!
Extremely poor qualityAnonymous reviewerVery poor quality. A lot of gap in between panels. And weak overall structure. Waste of space and money
NiceAnonymous reviewerWonderfuk gift from me wolf.
Wonderfuk gift from me wufe.Anonymous reviewerNice.
Very poor qualityAnonymous reviewerI'm not going to drive miles back to return a £19 item. But the workmanship on this is appalling. One of the hinges is so badly welded, there is a huge gap on one side of the lid and not the other. Despite the box looking ok and showing no signs of damage. It's very flimsy on the whole. Can't comment on assembly as I've chucked it back in the box, no good for the purpose I bought it for, i.e. actually keeping plants in.
Let's hope the large items I bought today are better.
