May be good on hard floors but certainly do not buy to use on top of carpet. First item from IKEA i didn’t like! 1

I hate this stuff but it does the job! Anonymous reviewerYes it holds the rugs firm on wooden floors.. So well in fact that you can’t adjust with out people to help and a major struggle. It is really sticky, horrid to touch and filth gets adhered to it. I have just purchased a new ikea rug and fortunately ikea has brought out a different type of non slip rug product now which I bought. I will review that when the rug is down. Would i recommend this stuff? … it works…… if the new stuff isn’t very good I will buy this again, but I repeat this is not nice to work with…. 3

Simple yet effectiveAnonymous reviewerThis felt is thin so I didn’t have high hopes….boy was I wrong. It took a bit of manhandling on my own to unfold and lay flat. Once it had been down a short while it seemed to have “glued” the rug to the bamboo parquet. It is impossible to drag the rug around, we have to lift an end each until fully unstuck from the floor then relocate as required. Absolutely no damage or residue on the floor.5
