Collect from your local IKEA store

Free for all orders

Our Click and collect service is available at all our IKEA stores across the UK except our Plan and Order Points.*

* IKEA Stockport does not currently offer a Click and collect service, however a local Tesco pick-up point is available (see more in Mobile pick-up points).

Mobile pick-up points (Tesco Car Parks)

Free for orders over £100, £5 for all other orders

IKEA has partnered with Tesco allowing orders to be placed online and picked up from our transport provider's vehicle in confirmed Tesco customer car parks.

Vehicles will be parked in signposted areas in the Tesco car park with operatives to hand the orders out. Please show your confirmation order to our transport partner upon arrival.

We have 2 collection windows available per day depending on the location. If a slot is not showing as available in the checkout, this will be because all available slots have already been booked within that specific time window.

DPD pick-up points

Free for orders over £100, £2 for all other orders

Collect from a choice of local convenience stores, post offices and more via DPD pick-up points.

Please note, this is only available for smaller-size parcel orders.

The collection windows available for you will depend on the DPD pick-up point. You will receive an email once your order has been received with further information about your collection window.

Not all collection points listed on the DPD website may be available at the checkout.

Locker pick-up points

Free for orders over £100, £5 for all other orders

IKEA has partnered with Shift to allow orders to be placed online and picked up from their self-serve collection lockers.

You will receive collection instructions including the address, locker number and unique PIN to open your locker in your confirmation email.

We have 2 collection windows to choose from for any given day, these are:

  • 07:00 - 11:00
  • 17:00 - 21:00

If a slot is not showing as available in the checkout, this will be because all available slots have already been booked within that specific time window.

How Click and collect works

  1. Put your desired items in your online shopping cart.
  2. Select your favourite or nearest IKEA store under “Click and collect”.  You will be shown partner pick-up points when you continue to checkout. (Please note you will only be presented with partner pick-up points if your postcode is within a 30-mile radius of a pick-up point).
  3. Choose a collection option and location which best suits you.
  4. Choose an available collection time. Complete your order.
  5. Live your life while we gather your items. You'll be notified via e-mail by IKEA or by our transport partner once your order is ready to collect, with instructions on how to make your collection. No need to leave home before getting notified that your order is ready for collection.
  6. Go to your chosen pick-up point during your time slot.
  7. Collect your order, load it into your vehicle and drive home.

Good-to-know basics 

  • Due to high demand, time slots may be limited. Available times are listed during online check-out.
  • If you can’t place an order at your desired IKEA store, try another location, remove an out-of-stock item from your cart or order later when stock is replenished.
  • Consider package dimensions and weight, so your order will fit in your vehicle. This information is on each product’s webpage.
  • The products delivered do not come pre-packed and/or in bags. Consider any shopping bags you may need to bring to take your order back home, or any additional packaging needed if you have ordered fragile and delicate items. 
  • The external lockers are a self-serve service, so there will be no one to support you in loading your order. Please consider bringing a helping hand to load your goods if necessary.
  • You will not be able to modify products in your order after it is placed, so double-check you have the correct items and quantities before placing your order.
  • Want an order update? Once you receive an order confirmation number, you can track your order.

  • Once your order has been prepared and is ready for collection, we will notify you via email. Please bring the 'your order is now ready' email to the collection point.

  • IKEA Stores collection: If you do not pick up your order during your selected collection slot, your order will be kept for a maximum 48-hour window from the end of your collection slot. The store will contact you to ask if you will be able to collect your order within this 48-hour window.

    If you are unable to collect your order, it will be cancelled and a refund will be processed within 14 days.

    Partner pick-up points: If you are unable to collect your order, it will be cancelled and a refund will be processed within 14 days.

  • IKEA Stores collection: Follow the directions to the Click and collect area once you arrive at the store. 

    Tesco pick-up points: go to the IKEA Click and collect area where the IKEA van will be waiting.

    Self-serve lockers pick-up points: go to your selected locker as stated in your confirmation email.

    DPD pick-up points: go to your selected DPD shop as stated in your confirmation email.

    Please bring the 'your order is now ready' email as you will need your order details to confirm your arrival. Please also bring ID as it may be requested.

  • If you have an order confirmation number, you can track your order, where you may be able to manage or cancel your order. You will need to provide the order confirmation number and the email address or phone number associated with your order.

  • The item may be unavailable for Click and collect due to low stock levels, please check an alternative store or try again later. You can also get notified by SMS or e-mail when the product is back by signing up to back in stock notifications from the products details page.
